I got up this morning to learn the temperature outside was a brisk 8C, or 46F, with an expected high of 11C, or 52F. Though summer has been good to us, right through to the end of September, it seems it is gone for another year, leaving the way for fall. Even the tree, pictured below, just up the street from our place, is telling us of the change of seasons.

Soon, all trees of the non-coniferous type will be joining in to spread the word that fall is upon us. Joanne and I will be heading up to the Eastern Townships in less than two weeks where we’ll do our best to capture this magnificent spectacle of colour for you. Stay tuned!
